This was done using Text-image.com, to create this I had to insert a picture as a background relevant to my topic, then I decided which word I wanted to be repeated, I choose the word 'university'. I then edited how I wanted it to be viewed and submited it to my blog.

Graffiti creator

This was done using The graffiti creator - home of Graffiti art. I achieved this by typing in the word I wanted to base my work around and then editing it to the way that I wanted it to be viewed, I was able to edit the colour, outline and shadow.

Tagxedo

Within this seminar we were assigned the task of creating images using different programmes.

I did this using Tagxedo, this was done by typing in my blog address to the site and then creating this image, changing the font, size, colour and layout, the site would take all the words that were most used on my page and show them in different sizes depending on their usage.

My week on Placement

During my week on placement I attended Parkland Primary School. I was assigned the position of helper in a year one class. During the week I was given the task of assisting the pupils with any problems they may find concerning their work and help them overcome them. I helped with many tasks ranging from mathamatical skills to doing crafts and making things for christmas. Within the year there were over 60 pupils all ranging in abilities. It was interesting to observe the different learning styles used and see the difference between the different levels of intelligence. As it was christmas time I did spend an awful amount of time in the hall watching the children rehearse their christmas concert, however I did take some of the children out to draw a picture of their trip to visit father christmas.

Wiki lesson

Today we created a wiki page about 'education in the future'. I did my page on what children will learn in the future. We all worked toghether to provide information and give our on views on what we cosidered them to be like. I enjoyed this lesson and though that we worked toghether well.

Research Week

Over the past week we have been on reading week, this week was provided to us so that we could catch up on work given to us. During the course of a week, I was given the task of creating a wiki page on 'Education of The Future'. I also wrote my first essay on learning styles which took up most of my week. However I did find time to fit in social gatherings and slept an awful lot.

Reflective Learning

At the moment we are looking at reflective learning, I have read a number of documents on the subject and found that they contained some interesting information on what reflective learning actually is. After much thought I have come to the conclusion that to improve my methods of learning I should focus more on taking down and reading my notes, I have also considered the idea of keeping a learning journal so that I am able to write down anything that comes to mind and ensure that any thoughts that I think up while working can be keep safe.
