Visual communication - personal meanings

In todays seminar we were given the task of bring in five items that had important meanings to me, I brought in my charm braclet and a key ring which my mum gave to me for my 18th birthday. As each charm had a different meaning for me I used them individualy to add up to my five items. we were then sent out of the class to use tape to create a design on the floor, my group created a star which we then placed our items inside. We then had to discuss what each item meant to us and why we had brought them in. When everyone had spoken we were told to stand up and walk around everyone elses designs and if we found anything interesting that we didnt understand we had to ask what it was. By doing this we were learning to communicate visually which is a key skill.
